At the end of the zusatz to §384 of the Philosophy of Mind, Hegel has this to say about religion and the duty of philosophy:
I came across another use of the term today, which is "performance", as seen on the Vienna State Opera website (below):
The word Hegel uses is vorstellung (below), which is usually translated as "representation" (as in the Wallace/Miller/Inwood translation above).The one nature of God, differentiated within itself, the totality of the divine mind in the form of unity, has first been revealed by the Christian religion. This content, given in the mode of representation, has to be raised by philosophy into the form of the
concept or of absolute knowledge, which, as we have said, is the highest revelation of that content.
